Moving Forward support group to meet
ADA — Valley View Regional Hospital’s Moving Forward Cancer Support Group meets at 10 a.m. in Valley View classroom 4, located on the ground floor. Susan Coleman, VVRH coordinator of senior health services and exercise specialist, presents “The Healing Effect of Movement.” This presentation will provide practical strategies for integrating simple movement exercises in daily life. There is no cost and this meeting is open to anyone diagnosed with breast, ovarian, or uterine cancer or anyone seeking more information about these cancers. Salvation Army Auxiliary meets
ADA — Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary meets at noon at the Citadel, 115 N. Oak. Donations of $5 are asked to help with the cost of the meal. To make reservations, phone (580) 332-1377.
Firing range opens at Murray State College
TISHOMINGO — Murray State College Firing Range is open to the public. Hours of operation are scheduled for March 17, 22, 24, 31, April 5, 7, 14, 19, 21, 28, may 3, 5, 12 and 17. Free tax help offered through April 16 in Ada
ADA — Free tax help and free e-filing will be offered Mondays through April 16 by the AARP Tax-Aid at the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce, 300 W. Main. All ages are welcome. For appointment, phone (580) 332-3882.

Prime Timers to meet at J.D.’s Cafe in Ada
ADA — Ada Prime Timers meets at J.D.’s Cafe. Visitation begins at 5:30 p.m. with a buffet dinner at 6 p.m. Billy Rice will share highlights of his and wife Verna’s recent trip to Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.
10th Street to close for repairs in that area
ADA — Tenth Street, between Townsend and Broadway, will close while crews make repairs in that area.
Jean Morgan sings at Ballard Nursing Home
ADA — Gospel singer Jean Morgan will sing for residents of Ballard Nursing home at 2:30 p.m.
Diabetes support group to meet
ADA — Community Diabetes Support Group, sponsored by Valley View Regional Hospital and Carl Albert Indian Hospital, will meet at 6:30 p.m. in classrooms located on the gound floor of the hospital. Paul Stone, Pharm. D., Valley View Regional Hospital’s director of pharmacy, presents new information about diabetes medication to attendees.
There is no cost and this meeting is open to anyone battling diabetes and his or her friends and family. For more information phone (580) 421-1511.

Blood Drive scheduled at Clarita center
CLARITA — A blood drive is scheduled from 1-7 p.m. at Clarita Community Center. Donors can enter to win a seven-night eastern Caribbean cruise for two and will receive a free T-shirt.
Dance slated at Irving School Building
ADA — A dance is held every Wednesday at the Irving School Building from 7:30-10 p.m. Cost is $6 per person.
