Catch the reading bug

ADA — Teh Ada Public Library’s summer reading program called “Catche the Reading Bug,” will begin June 2.

There will be storytimes, workshops, spcial performers and movies for children ages 3-12 and teens 13-18. Summer schedules are available. All programs are free and open to the public. For more information, phone 580-436-8124.

Call-A-Ride youth

Byng Class of 1978 looking for classmates

BYNG — Byng Graduating Class of 1978 is planning its 30-year reunion. It will take place June 14 at Ada Elks Lodge.

Latta High School class of 1998 reunion

The Latta High School Class of 1998 will be having its 10 year reunion July 18 at Fossil Creek Ranch.

Super Summer Camp enrollment

ADA — Ada Boys and Girls Club is now taking enrollment for the Super Summer Camp for children ages 6-18.

The cost is $50 per week. Summer hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. For more information, phone 580-332-3717.

Alumni softball game scheduled

KONAWA — The first Konawa High School alumni co-ed softball game is scheduled for Saturday, May 17 at the Konawa City Park.

The first game will start at 11 a.m. Teams will be determined by their year of graduation with even year graduates facing odd year graduates. A second game will be played at 2 p.m. if there is a surplus of players. All players must be graduates of Konawa High School.

Konawa participates in food program

KONAWA — Konawa School is participating in the Summer Food Service Program.

Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all childrin regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.

Meals will be provided at Konawa School Cafeteria June 2 through June 26. Breakfast will be served from 7:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. Lunch will be available from 11 a.m. to noon.
