Athens Cemetery needs donations
ADA — Donations are needed for the upkeep of Athens Cemetery. Donations may be sent to Rufus Clark, 2901 N. Broadway, Ada, OK 74820.
Vanoss alumni plan 56th annual event
VANOSS — Vanoss School Alumni Association announces its 56th annual banquet for Saturday, June 27 at 7 p.m. The event is open to all Vanoss alumni.
The meal will be beef brisket, buttered potatoes, baked beans, coleslaw, corn, hot rolls and peach cobbler. Price of tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Advance tickets may be reserved by phoning Laura Cothren at Vanoss School, 580-759-3707, and must be reserved by Thursday, June 25. Clarita Homecoming set June 5-6
CLARITA — Clarita Homecoming event is June 5-6 at Clarita Community Building. Firiday evening get-together is for visiting and reminiscing. Guests begin arriving at 5 p.m. and stay until they get tired.
On Saturday, June 6, guests may arrive anytime after 9 a.m. and spend the day. The class of 1958-59 will be celebrating its 50th anniversary. The 1948-49 graduating class will celebrate the 60th anniversary and the 65th anniversary will be the class of 1943-44.
A home-cooked meal will be catered and served at noon. Submit $12 for each meal and $4 for each child under the age of 12. $1 of this fee will be applied the Homecoming costs.
Reservations and lunch fees must be returned by May 29 to Clarita Homecoming, P.O. Box 5, Clarita, OK 74535.

Maud Alumni to host annual banquet
MAUD — Maud Alumni Association will host its annual banquet Saturday, June 13, at 6 p.m. in the Maud Community Center. Prepaid reservations may be purchased for $12.50 each and mailed to P.O. Box 251, Maud, OK 74854. Five or more prepaid tickets purchased by one person will be offered at $10 each. Tickets purchased at the door will be $15. Annual dues are $10 and necessary for the continued communication and organization of the Alumni Association.
Maud Senior Citizens Center Building, Maud High School Building and Maud Historical Museum will be open for visiting that day.

Stratford alumni reunion makes plans
STRATFORD — On Saturday, June 6, all graduaes or students who ever attended Stratford High School will celebrate their 78th reunion at Church of Christ activity building in Stratford. Visiting will be from 3-5:30 p.m. and dinner served at 5:30 p.m. Cost of admission is $12 which covers visiting and dinner.

Halo Hospice hosts remembrance
ADA — Halo Hospice, 1298 North Hills Center, hosts an evening of remembrance Tuesday, May 26. The event is come-and-go, open house style evening from 5-7 p.m.

AHS 1999 class hosts reunion

McLish School plans alumni reunion
FITTSTOWN — McLish Alumni Weekend is coming up. On Friday, June 12 at 7 p.m. in the McLish Gym there will be women’s basketball followed by the men’s game. On Saturday, June 13 from 2-4 p.m. McLish School will be open for visitation. Saturday evening at 5 begins visitation at the Elks’ Lodge in Ada. Festivities and dinner follow.
