• Howard V. Blair will be at the Ada Public Library from 4 p.m. for a presentation and book signing. His book, “Class: Thoughts of an Ordinary Man,” will be available for $20.

• Howard V. Blair will be at Tin Can Cafe in Connerville from 6-8 p.m. for a book signing. His book, “Class: Thoughts of an Ordinary Man,” will be available for $20.

• Alcoholics Anonymous meets each weekday from noon until 1 p.m. and again from 8-9 p.m. and weekends from 10-11 a.m. and 8-9 p.m. at 431 S. Mississippi (between 14th and 15th streets on Mississippi Ave in Ada). All meetings are open and anyone who is interested in learning more about the program is invited to attend.

• Al-Anon meets Fridays at 8 p.m. at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church at 17th Street and Broadway in Ada.

• Babysitters College class will be June 11-12, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Carl Albert Indian Health Facility main conference room. • Ada City Council meets the first and third Monday each month at 5:45 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall unless the day falls on a holiday. Meetings are also televised live on cable channel 11.

• Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1194 meets at 7 p.m. the first Monday of each month in the upstairs music room of Ada Public Library.
