Special Education training offered

Conceal Carry Class to be held

TISHOMINGO — A Conceal Carry Class will be offered at the Murray State College Firing Range Thursday, June 12th from 6:00 p.m. -10:00 p.m. and Saturday, June 14th from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. The fee of $60.00 is payable at the first session. Classes will be held at the MSC Firing Range. All participants must be Oklahoma residents and 21 years of age. Phone Roger Lee for more information at 580-221-1635

MS support group meets in Ada

ADA — Ada MS Support Group will meet Thursday, 6 p.m. at the Marie Bailey Building for its regular monthly meeting. A guest speaker will be present to discuss nutrition for the MS patient. A meal will be provided. For more information, please call 580-436-4629 or 580-436-7981.

Allen Quilt Guild to meet

ALLEN — Allen Quilt Guild will meet at 7 p.m. in the Allen Public Library. All quilters are welcome.

Breastfeeding group to meet

ADA — La Leche League of Ada will be meeting in classroom four of Valley View Regional Hospital at 6 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month. La Leche League is a breastfeeding support group for expecting moms, new moms and not-so-new moms. Nurslings and small children welcome.

AA group to meet at local church

ADA — The local Alcoholics Anonymous group meets Thursdays at 7 p.m. in fellowship hall of First Presbyterian Church, 301 E. Kings Rd. For more information, phone Daniel G. at (580) 332-3503.

OSU teaches while eating

ADA — Lunch and Learn, a unique program offered by the OSU Extension Office that provides both food and a unique health-related learning experience, will be held at the OSU Extension Center in the Ada Agri-plex, 1700 N. Broadway.
