Dance set at Irving Community Center
ADA — A dance is held every Wednesday at the Irving Community Center, 704 N. Oak, from 7:30-10 p.m. The cost is $6 per person.

Byng cheerleaders to serve soft drinks
ADA — Byng cheerleaders will be providing Coke and popcorn from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Citizens Bank, 12th Street drive through. Donations are not expected but will be accepted.
Depression Bipolar Support group meet
ADA — The State Chapter of Depression Bipolar Support Alliance will meet at 6 p.m. on Thursdays at Rolling Hills Hospital, 1000 Rolling Hills Lane, Ada. Ada Rubber Stamp Art Club to meet
ADA — Ada Rubber Stamp Art Club meets at 6:30 p.m. at the Ada Public Library. Newcomers are always welcome to attend and do not need to take anything with them in order to participate. Senior Citizens hosts Indian taco sale
ADA — Ada Chickasaw Senior Citizens is hosting an Indian taco sale from 4-7 p.m. at 1005 Chamber Loop. Cost is $6 per person. Meal includes a taco, dessert and drink. Pie auction begins at 5:30 p.m. For delivery of two or more, phone 580-436-1007.
Alzheimer’s support group meets
ADA — Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Support Group meets in the auditorium of Social Services Center, 630 E. Beverly. The meeting is open to anyone with concerns about these conditions. For more information, phone Sidney Pepper at 332-0832.
VFW Post conducts monthly meeting
KONAWA — Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 11194 meets at Walter Wise Hut in Konawa at 7 p.m. The meeting is open to all veterans.

OBI conducts blood drive at Covington
ADA — Oklahoma Blood Institute hosts a blood drive from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Covington Credit, 218 East Main. Donors receive free health checks and members-for-life points.
AA group to meet at local church

ADA — Ada area Kiwanis club will be organizing Fourth of July activities, including fireworks, 5K and 10K run, at Wintersmith Park for the 2008 celebration.
Stonewall celebrates Fourth of July
STONEWALL — Stonewall begins its Independence Day celebration at 10 a.m. Friday, July 4. This year’s theme is Let Freedom Ring. A car show including hot rods, classic and antique cars will be at the ballpark area on the west end of Stonewall. Parade participants need to arrive at 9:15 a.m. to register and line up.
