ADA — Rotary District Governor Bill Edwards will be the guest speaker at Ada Rotary Club Wednesday, July 9. Ada Rotary Club meets at the Aldridge at noon.
Dance set at Irving Community Center
ADA — A dance is held every Wednesday at the Irving Community Center, 704 N. Oak, from 7:30-10 p.m. The cost is $6 per person.

Breastfeeding group to meet at hospital
ADA — La Leche League of Ada will be meeting in classroom four of Valley View Regional Hospital at 6 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month. La Leche League is a breastfeeding support group for expecting moms, new moms and not-so-new moms. Nurslings and small children welcome.
Ballard Nursing Home hosts singing
ADA -- Gospel and country music singers Thurman Rinehart, Leon Barnett and Gene Williams will perform for residents of Ballard Nursing Home in Ada at 2:30 p.m.
Rineharts to entertain
ALLEN -- The Singing Rineharts will entertain residents of Woodland Hills Nursing Home in Allen with gospel and country music Thursday, July 10 at 6:30 p.m.

Camp Fire USA sets up camp
ADA — Camp Fire USA is hosting Camp Da Wa Si 2008 at Wintersmith Park from July 14-18, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Activities include fishing clinic, swimming, ropes course, games, arts and crafts, singing, nature study, hiking, archery, B-B gun safety. Fees are $50 for members who sold their fair share, $65 for members who did not sell their fair share, and $80 for non-Camp Fire members. For more information, phone Chandra at 580-332-1360.
