Each brief is located under the corresponding day and date headline in the order of the times. Each brief simply lists who, what, where and when for non-profit organizations and must be submitted at least five days before day of event. ◊ Chickasaw Nation Get Fresh! cooking show will be 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. at Family Life/Wellness Center, 229 W. Seabrook. Cooking show is free and open to the public.

◊ Shelley Hamby and Dr. Don Davies will be the featured speakers at Ada Rotary Club at noon. Their talk will describe screening that is available in the radiology department at Valley View Regional Hospital. Ada Rotary Club meets at the Aldridge.

◊ Tupelo freshman enrollment will be from 1 to 3 p.m.

◊ Stonewall Freshmen enrollment will be from 1-3 p.m.

◊ Stonewall Elementary enrollment K-4 is from 9-11:30 a.m. and from 1-3 p.m.

◊ Vanoss school will be having athletic physicals for middle school athletes in grades 5-8 at 5:30 p.m.

◊ A dance is held every Wednesday at the Irving Community Center, 704 N. Oak, from 7:30-10 p.m. The cost is $6 per person.
