Lakewood golf course begins
Thursday night scrambles
ADA — The Lakewood Golf Course is one again hosting its Thursday night two-man scrambles.
Participants must be registered by 5 p.m. so the scramble can begin promptly at 5:30 p.m. Entry fee is $20 per person.

Ada High reserve football
tickets now on sale
ADA — Ada High football reserved tickets are now on sale at the board office to former ticket holders.

Eccentric Duffer sets
‘End of Summer’ hours
ADA — The Eccentric Duffer golf course and range announces its “End of Summer” schedule.
The course will be open all day Labor Day and will include drawings.
Open daily from 8 a.m. until ???, the course is closed until 1:00 p.m. on Mondays for maintenance. The Men's Scramble tees off at 8 a.m. on Tuesdays.
Night Golf in September will be announced at a later date.

Byng now selling
athletic passes
BYNG — Athletic passes are now on sale at Byng School.
Cost is $100 for a family pass and $25 for an individual pass and can be purchased at the school’s athletic office.

Benefit scamble planned
at Sulphur Hills golf course
SULPHUR — The Sulphur Kidney Foundation Walk-A-Thon Scramble is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 6 at the Sulphur Hills Golf Course.
Registration is at 8:15 a.m. with a shotgun start set at 9 a.m. Cost is $30 per individual for the two-man scramble.

LATTA — Latta Athletic season passes on now on sale in the high school office.
Cost is $75 for a family pass, $45 for an individual pass and $25 for a Latta Student pass.

Applications ready for
flag football season
ADA — For the fourth consecutive season, the City of Ada Recreation Department will offer a non-contact flag football league for youth between first and sixth grades.
Registration is $30 per player. The deadline to register is Friday, August 29. No late applications will be accepted. All players who register will be placed on a team. Draft day is scheduled for Thursday, September 4. Only coaches can be present for the draft.
Applications are available at the Irving Community Center, 704 N. Oak; Ada City Hall, 231 S. Townsend; or at www.adaok.com, on the Parks & Recreation page.
Applications will also be distributed in Ada area schools.
The flag football league is intended for recreation only. No standings are kept. All games are played on Monday and Tuesday at Matthews Softball Park, 601 S. Hickory.
