Allen church celebrates 100th anniversary

ALLEN — Allen United Methodist Church is celebrating its 100th anniversary Sunday, Oct. 5. Special guests include Oklahoma Bishop Robert E. Hayes Jr. (preaching), and Ardmore D.S. Dr. Guy Ames III. Celebration will be at 11 a.m., lunch at 12, and special music at 1:30 p.m. featuring friends and members of the church, as well as the Handbell Choir and Chancel Choir of the First United Methodist Church in Ada.

The celebration is open to the public. The church is located off State Highway 1 at Broadway and Boston in Allen.

Feast of Tabernacles registration opens

SEMINOLE — Two Wild Olives Ministry will be hosting Feast of Tabernacles celebration through eight days of community camping similar to traditional “camp meetings.” Two Wild Olives is a Messianic organization and this feast, called Sukkot in Hebrew, will feature Hebraic teaching and celebration. Pauls Valley church celebrates anniversary

PAULS VALLEY — Bethlehem Baptist Church at Pauls Valley celebrates its 106th anniversary and homecoming Sept. 26-28. Theme for the celebration is The Kingdom Agenda In Our Church.

On Friday, Sept. 26, church anniversary musical begins at 7 p.m. A church picnic is 11 a.m. at Wicker Park Saturday, Sept. 27. Speaker for Sunday, Sept. 28, at 11 a.m. will be the Rev. Herman Stevenson Jr., associate pastor of Britton Christian Church in Oklahoma City. Speaker for the 3 p.m. service will be Dr. Gregory Wilson Jones, senior pastor of Greater Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in Starkville, Miss.

Eagles Nest continues to take enrollment

STRATFORD — Eagles Nest Christian School students and faculty are enjoying their recent move to the New Beginnings Church facilities located two miles east of Stratford on State Highway 19 while awaiting a new school building.
