◊ A blood drive will be held at Stonewall High School from 1-6 p.m. at the school, 600 S Highschool in Stonewall.
◊ Dana Jordan, formerly of Ada and author of “Clang Went the Cymbals” will read her book to students at at Glenwood Early Childhood Center. Those books will be for sale and signed for each student. ◊ Young Professionals Association of Ada will be holding “It’s a Tuesday Thing” from 5:30 – 7 p.m. at DOC’s BBQ & Steakhouse, 1601 N. Mississippi. This business networking event is open to Ada area professionals in their 20s, 30s or “Young at Heart” and admission is free. Featured sponsor for this month’s event is the Chickasaw Nation. ◊ Byrd’s Mill chapter of Oklahoma Society of Archeology meets at 7 p.m. in the conference room of Valley View Regional Hospital. Charles Wallace will be the speaker.

◊ The Chickasaw Nation Get Fresh! program will have a class at 10 a.m. and noon at Ada Family Life/Wellness Center at 229 W. Seabrook. For more information, phone (580) 272-5506.
◊ Ajay Kumar, Holcim Cement plant manager and Ada Rotary Club member, will present a classification talk at Ada Rotary Club at noon. Ada Rotary Club meets at the Aldridge and is open to all Rotarians and their guests.
◊ Smart Start Advisory Council meeting will be at noon at the Chickasaw Nation Community Center. Becky Roe with Pontotoc County Health Department will be presenting information.
◊ A dance is held every Wednesday at the Irving Community Center, 704 N. Oak, from 7:30-10 p.m. The cost is $6 per person.

◊ The Chickasaw Nation Get Fresh! program will have a class at 10 a.m. and noon at Ada Nutrition Services at 518 E. Arlington. For more information, phone (580) 272-5506.
◊ An Indian taco sale will be from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. at Konawa School Cafeteria. Cost is $5 with drink. All proceeds will benefit the fifth grade class trip to Goddard Youth Camp.

◊ The Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Ada will hold its regular monthly meeting at 5 p.m. in the conference room located at 1100 N. Stockton. The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss any matter that is brought before the board.
