• Ada Friends of the Library hosts its annual book sale from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m at the Ada Public Library. For more information, phone 580-436-8121.

• Ada Main Street will be hosting a Chili Cook Off & Salsa Showdown from 11a.m. until 2 p.m. at 300 W. Main (Historic Depot downtown). Tickets are $5 each.  • Ada Football Booster Club is taking a Charter Bus to the Tahlequah game October 30. The cost is $24. Phone 421-5408 to reserve a seat.

• Celebrate Recovery meets each Friday at Grace Community Church in Konawa on SH 99. The program is for anyone with hurts, habits or hangups. From 6-7 p.m., a meal is served for $3; group from 7 to 9 p.m. is free. For more information, phone 580-272-3320 or 925-3545.

• Al-Anon meets Fridays at 8 p.m. at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church at 17th Street and Broadway in Ada.

• Ada Friends of the Library hosts its annual book sale from 9 a.m. until noon at the Ada Public Library. For more information, phone 580-436-8121.

• Ada Artists Association will be registering artists from 9 a.m. to noon on the second floor of the Ada Public Library. Artists are limited to four entries. Members pay $7 and non-members pay $10 per entry. A reception for exhibitors and guests will be Monday, Nov. 2 from 6-7 p.m.

• Former employees of Hazel Atlas, Continental Can, Owens Brockway Glass are hosting a reunion from 9:30- a.m. until 2 p.m at Chickasaw Community Center, 700 N. Mississippi Street. • Ada Main Street will be holding its annual Autumn Days in Ada from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. The downtown festival will include arts, entertainment, cars, food and fun. Live entertainment will be on stage at Main and Broadway all day. • Ada American Legion Post 72 sponsors bingo Saturday nights at 6 and 7:30 p.m. The Post hall is located at 3529 N. Broadway, Ada. Refreshments are available. Proceeds finance veterans and their families, scholarships and Boys and Girls State.
