• Ada Friends of the Library hosts its annual book sale from 9 a.m. until noon at the Ada Public Library. For more information, phone 580-436-8121.

• Ada Artists Association will be registering artists from 9 a.m. to noon on the second floor of the Ada Public Library. Members pay $7 and non-members pay $10 per entry. A reception for exhibitors and guests will be Monday, Nov. 2 from 6-7 p.m.

• Former employees of Hazel Atlas, Continental Can, Owens Brockway Glass are hosting a reunion from 9:30- a.m. until 2 p.m at Chickasaw Community Center, 700 N. Mississippi Street. For more information, phone Jeannie Coplin at 332-2854 or 272-4787.

• Ada Main Street will be holding its annual Autumn Days in Ada from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. The downtown festival will include arts, entertainment, cars, food and fun. Live entertainment will be on stage at Main and Broadway. For more information, phone Ada Main Street office at 580-436-1600.

• Ada American Legion Post 72 sponsors Bingo Saturday nights at 6 and 7:30 p.m. The Post hall is located at 3529 N. Broadway, Ada. Refreshments are available.

• Al-Anon meets Sundays at 8 p.m. at Central Church of Christ at 820 Stadium Drive in Ada.

• Pontotoc County Alcoholics Anonymous group meets at 8 p.m. at Central Church of Christ, 820 Stadium Drive, Ada. Open meeting.

• Boy Scouts of America is turning 100 years old. Boys in first grade through eighth grade interested in joining Cub Scouts or Boy Scouts may phone Nick Janke, Boy Scouts district executive, at 580-399-2888. A co-ed group, Venturing, is also available.
