• Boy Scouts of America is turning 100 years old. A co-ed group, Venturing, is also available.

• A Christmas Tour of Homes is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 7, from 5-8 p.m. Tickets are on sale at Ada Area Chamber of Commerce or by calling East Central University at 559-5873. Tour ticket prices are $10 for the tour only, and $15 for the tour with transportation provided. Refreshments will be served at Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center throughout the evening. Proceeds benefit the children of Ada through Project Invest — a program of ECU’s Child Care Resource & Referral Agency and Smart Start South Central.

• Byng Indian Education Committee will meet at 6 p.m. in the high school student center. The agenda will include the review of Policies and Procedures and Student Comparisons. The meeting will adjourn at 6:40 and will reconvene at 7 in the administration building for a public hearing regarding the Impact Aid federal funding program.
