Ada Senior Care Center, a non-profit community service agency to help prevent or delay nursing home placement, is open weekdays at the back of First Presbyterian Church on Kings Road. The center is now accepting clients. For more information, hone Donna at 332-2855.
A Christmas Tour of Homes is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 7, from 5-8 p.m. Tickets are on sale at Ada Area Chamber of Commerce or by calling East Central University at 559-5873. Tour ticket prices are $10 for the tour only, and $15 for the tour with transportation provided. Refreshments will be served at Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center throughout the evening. Proceeds benefit the children of Ada through Project Invest — a program of ECU’s Child Care Resource & Referral Agency and Smart Start South Central.
