Todd Thomsen of Ada, State Representative for District 25, joined Jamie Lassiter, president of the Allen FFA Chapter, and her advisor, Kenny Cundiff during the Oklahoma FFA Legislative and VIP Banquet on April 29 at the Petroleum Club in downtown Oklahoma City.
Hosted by the Oklahoma FFA Foundation during the 83rd Oklahoma FFA Convention, the event was designed to reinforce the positive relationship between the Oklahoma Legislature and the Oklahoma FFA Association.
FFA is an integral part of the Agricultural Education Division within the Oklahoma CareerTech System. The Oklahoma FFA Association is the fifth largest state association with 355 chapters and more than 24,000 members. Thomsen said he was honored to attend this banquet with both Jaime Lassiter and Kenny Cundiff. He said he continues to be amazed at the positive contributions Cundiff has made and continues to make with his students. His dedication to education will positively impact our state and its future through agricultural education.
