Officers of Latta FFA chapter participated in the 2009 Oklahoma FFA Chapter Officer Leadership Training (COLT) Conference Sept. 1 at the Southeast Expo Center in McAlester. Josh Brecheen, Coalgate, was the keynote speaker for the conference. Brecheen once wore the traditional FFA blue and gold jacket and served as state FFA president in 1998-99. He is a field representative for U.S. Sen. Tom Coburn. Attending from the Latta chapter include Kristal Williams, president; Jermy Cox, vice president; Samantha Barnes, secretary; Quaid Rich, treasurer; Tierney Roberts, reporter; Madlyne Elliott, sentinel; Scottie Krebbs, parliamentarian; and Jeff Moore, adviser. State officers pictured include Ariel LeForce, seated far left, southeast district vice president; and Amy Peel, seated far right, state FFA president.
