VAMOOSA — Mr. and Mrs. Danny Clayton, Vamoosa, are celebrating their silver wedding anniversary. Danny Clayton and Linda Russell Doner were married April 26, 1984, at the Church of Christ in Konawa. Their children are hosting a reception from 1:30-3 p.m. May 3, 2009, at Wintersmith Park Lodge in Ada. The couple requests no gifts.
Danny Clayton grew up in Sasakwa. He has worked in the oil business for more than 40 years.
Linda Russell Doner grew up in Vamoosa and operated convenience stores near Konawa Lake.
Together they owned and operated the convenience store in Vamoosa until 1997. They have lived in Vamoosa since their marriage and enjoy retirement by pursuing their hobbies of hunting and porcelain painting. They also enjoy traveling, fellowshipping with their church family, and watching their grandchildren play sports.
They have four children and seven grandchildren.
