City of Ada now accepting

softball registration forms

ADA – The Recreation Department is now accepting registration forms for the 2008 spring softball season. The deadline to register is April 4 for individuals and April 11 for teams.

The City of Ada offers spring softball leagues for the following groups: 6-and-under, 8-and-under, 10-and-under, 12-and-under, 14-and-under, men’s, and co-ed.

Registration forms are available at the Recreation Department office inside the Irving Community Center at 4th and Oak streets. The registration form is also available on the City of Ada website at www.adaok.com/parks_&_recreation.htm.

Registration continues

for Homer League

HOMER — Registration continues for the 2008 Homer OK Kids Baseball League .

All interested coaches asked to check in at www.allprosoftware.net/homerbaseball and respond to league e-mail address: homeryouthleague@yahoo.com.

To better serve the league, Homer baseball is only accepting the first 10 teams that enter in each age division this year. After each division is full, coaches meetings will be scheduled.

Coaches’ meetings set

for spring softball

ADA – With spring just around the corner, the Recreation Department is hosting a series of meetings for coaches of youth and adult softball teams that are planning to compete at Matthews Park.

Coaches have the opportunity to attend one of three meetings. The meetings have been scheduled for March 11, March 13, and March 25. Each meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Irving Community Center gymnasium, located at 4th and Oak streets.
