ADA — Jimmy Eppler, president and CEO of Citizens Bank, announces the promotions of several Citizens Bank employees. The promotions are as follows: Kassie Cothran to senior vice president/chief lending officer; Brigette Jones to senior vice president; Cheryl Yott to vice president/information systems officer; Veneshia Ferdinand to vice president/compliance officer; Zac Walters to human resources officer; Diana Randolph to assistant cashier/ and Will Martin to personal banker.
Kassie Cothran is a graduate of Tishomingo High School and East Central University. He has been in banking in the Ada area for 14 years and with Citizens Bank for seven years. Cothran is a graduate of OBA Consumer Lending School and the American Bankers Association Commercial Lending School.
Cothran has completed the Leadership Ada program and is an active volunteer for Relay for Life. He also serves on the East Central University Alumni Board. He is married to Somerlyn and they have a daughter, Kaydence. They are members of First Presbyterian Church.
Brigette Jones is a graduate of Ada High School and attended East Central University. She has 24 years of banking experience in Ada, including four years at Citizens Bank. She is a member of the United Way Board as well as the Chamber of Commerce Board. She is married to Shane Jones and has three children, Caleb Wingo, Kelsey Wingo, Cooper Wingo, and two stepchildren, Samantha Jones and John Jones. She enjoys reading and snow skiing.
Cheryl Yott graduated from Byng High School and is attending college at ECU. She has been with Citizens Bank for 26 years. She has completed numerous courses including Microsoft’s MCSE, A+, Exchange, SANS Security Bootcamp and ICBA Community Bank Technology Officer Certification.
Yott is a member of Ada Business and Professional Women, a United Way volunteer, and attends Vamoosa Baptist Church. She is married to Wayne Yott and has one son, Trae Graham and one stepdaughter, Cassie Holloway. She also has two grandchildren, Lexi Graham, 3, and Kyler Graham, 1. Yott enjoys being outdoors, hunting and spending time with her grandchildren.
Veneshia Ferdinand graduated from Symbiosis Institute in India with a degree in business finance. She also has an undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Pune, India. She has more than 12 years experience in the banking industry, including seven years with Citizens Bank.
Ferdinand attended the Oklahoma Bankers Association Compliance School in August 2003, 2005 and 2007. She serves on the board of the OBA Compliance School and is a member of Ada Rotary Club, volunteer for Relay for Life and March of Dimes. She is married to Robert Ferdinand, a math faculty at ECU, and they have a 2-year-old son, Keane. Her hobbies include reading and spending time with her family.
Zac Walters graduated from Ada High School and ECU where he earned a bachelor’s of science degree in accounting. Walters has also received his CPA certificate. He has been in banking for nine years including seven years with Citizens Bank. He is married to Brandi Walters and they have one daughter, Leslie. Walters enjoys reading, watching movies and spending time with his family.
Diana Randolph graduated high school in South Africa and has been with Citizens Bank for 27 years. She is the branch manager at the Arlington and Country Club location. Randolph is married to Dan Randolph and they have three Beagles. She enjoys traveling and watching the NFL and Nascar.
Will Martin has been with Citizens Bank for one year. Martin graduated from Frederick High School and attended East Central University. He is a graduate of OBA Consumer Lending School He is married to Carrie Martin and has three daughters, Laurel Martin, Cailee Canada and Jussely Canada. His hobbies include coaching softball, being outside, watching football and Nascar.
