Ada branch of Bank of the West bolstered by new hirings, promotion

ADA — Brian Hughes has joined the Bank of the West branch in Ada as assistant vice president and branch manager. Bank of the West also announced two other changes at its Ada branch – the hiring of Lisa Hector as customer service manager and the promotion of Sarah Gaches to assistant customer service manager.
Hughes is responsible for generating business relationships as well as planning, directing, and managing activities for the branch.  He also plans to participate in activities throughout the community. There are 19 Bank of the West locations throughout the state of Oklahoma.
An Ada resident, Hughes has more than eight years of banking experience.  He holds a bachelor’s in business administration from East Central University. Hughes is active in the Ada Regional United Way and is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Ada.  He is a graduate of Ada High School. Hughes and his wife, Natalie, have two children; Indy, 3, and Andrew, 2.
Hector is responsible for customer service and sales, maintaining branch operations, and managing branch operations staff. Hector, who has more than four years of banking experience, is returning to Bank of the West. During her previous stint, she served as a client services pepresentative and a financial services representative.
A resident of Ada, Hector received a bachelor’s in business administration from East Central University, and is a graduate of Stratford High School. She has been active in Relay for Life, the United Way and the Zeta Tan Alpha sorority. Hector is married to Dakota Hector, owner of Triple H Custom Homes and Developers, Inc.
Sarah Gaches is responsible for teller transactions as well as assisting with branch operations and opening new accounts. A resident of Ada, Gaches has served at Bank of the West for five years as a customer service representative. She worked in the Bixby and Seminole branches before joining the Ada branch in 2004. Gaches and her husband, Chris, have a daughter Katelyn.
