Local residents attend conferences

Celebrating Home

ADA — The following local residents and Designers for Celebrating Home recently returned from the company's Rally 2009 conference in Nashville, Tenn.

• Ada resident and designer Debbie Claborn

• Ada resident and designer Jerry Lynn Russell

• Roff resident and designer Bobbie Holland

• Stratford resident and designer Fred Stephens

The gathering, held Aug. 13-15 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort, was designed to re-energize designers with a spirit of enthusiasm to make their businesses successful.



Scentsy

ADA — The following local residents and independent consultants with Scentsy, Inc., a Party Plan company that provides scented, wickless candles, have returned from the company's annual convention: Kristin Unsell and Cynthia Morris, both of Ada.

The convention, held Aug. 13-14 at The Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, included an array of general sessions, workshops and other events for consultants to learn about the company's goals and developments in the industry.
