VILLA GROVE — Brock Bodine hit four three-pointers on his way to 14 points to lead Salt Fork past Oakwood, 66-43, to win the championship of the Villa Grove Holiday Tournament.
Jon Knoll also had 14 points for Salt Fork and Joel Learnard added nine points in a game that was missing an important piece for Oakwood.
Oakwood star and leading scorer Justin Jones sat out the game with a leg injury, and Salt Fork rebounded from a slow start to beat the out-manned Comets.
“We came out kind of slow, maybe because they were missing their star, but after that we played really well for the last three quarters,” said Salt Fork Head Coach Aaron Hird.
The win moves Salt Fork to 4-0 to start the year, and they will be hosts to St. Joseph-Ogden on Tuesday at 6 p.m.

HOOPESTON — Iroquois West drained eight three-pointers on their way to a win over Milford on Saturday in the Cornjerker Classic.
