Mary Louise Pardee-Thornton, 98, of Fort Worth passed away Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009, in Fort Worth. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, at Scott Funeral Chapel with Pastor Helvius Thompson officiating.

Joe Franklin McRae Jr., 36, of Lincolnton, N.C., passed away Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at First Baptist Church in Lincolnton, N.C., with Pastor Herndon officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at the church prior to the service.
