Student group to hold food drive

Members of the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) at Corsicana High School are combining a fun activity with a worthy cause in a special event taking place from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12.

The student group will be working to help the less fortunate in Navarro County by collecting canned food donations for the Navarro County Food Pantry Ministry.

To make the event fun for the FCCLA members, the door-to-door campaign will include a “Scavenger Hunt” competition among the student teams conducting the food drive.

This is the third annual Scavenger Hunt put on by the FCCLA at Corsicana High School. Donations of canned goods and nonperishable food items will go to help feed needy families served by the Food Pantry.
