East Central basketball camps slated for July

Tiger Basketball Clinic set for July 13-17
East Central University’s Tiger Basketball Clinic, for students in grades 1-12, will be held on July 13-17 at the Kerr Activities Center on the ECU campus.
Skills, drills and basic fundamentals will be learned at the five-day camp.
The camp is directed by ECU women’s assistant basketball coach Jeff McGaha and his brother Matt McGaha(10 years experience at the Jr.High, High School, and Collegiate level), along with former and current ECU basketball players.
Grades 5-12 will meet from 9 a.m. to noon on July 13-17 while those in grades 1-4 will learn from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The cost is $90 per participant. However, there is an early bird special rate of $80 which is good until 5 p.m. on July 10.
Shooting Camp set for July 20-22
A Tiger Basketball Shooting Camp for students in grades 3-12 will be held on July 20-22 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Kerr Activities Center on the ECU campus.
The camp is designed to improve and enhance shooting skills. Emphasis will be placed on form, shooting style, choice of shot and creating you shot in game situations. The three-day camp will include drills and basic fundamentals.
The camp is directed by ECU women’s assistant basketball coach Jeff McGaha and his brother, Matt McGaha, along with former and current ECU basketball players.
The cost is $65 per participant. However, an early-bird special rate of $55 is available if registered by July 17 at 5 p.m.
Participants in either camp are urged to bring an extra pair of shoes (no outside shoes are allowed on the floor). Included in the cost of the camp are a camp basketball, t-shirt, and snacks.
