NORMAN (AP) — None of Oklahoma's players can claim many happy memories from playing at Texas Tech.
Few would like to forget more than DeMarco Murray.

  • Bronchos roll past OCU, 31-3
OKLAHOMA CITY — Kenny Meredith scored a first-period fall and Central Oklahoma won nine of 10 matches to roll past Oklahoma City 31-3 Tuesday night at Abe Lemons Arena.

  • Central Oklahoma holds off Stars in exhibition contest
Shane Carroll and Chris Rhymes scored six points apiece in the final four minutes as Central Oklahoma survived a frantic Oklahoma City rally for an 82-77 exhibition victory Thursday night at Hamilton Field House.

  • No. 18-ranked Sooners hold off Bronchos
It looked good early for the No. 6-ranked Central Oklahoma wrestling team, who jumped out to a 7-0 lead on No. 18 Oklahoma, before the Sooners muscled their way to a 27-10 win at Hamilton Fieldhouse on Wednesday night.

  • UCO falls in exhibition
OKLAHOMA CITY — Good thing it was only an exhibition game.
Turnover-prone Central Oklahoma never found its offensive rhythm and gave up easy baskets throughout in dropping an ugly 98-74 decision to Oklahoma City Tuesday night at Abe Lemons Arena in its lone exhibition contest of the preseason.

  • Eagles down No. 10 Texas Wesleyan, Taylor leads team with 19 points
The Oklahoma Christian men’s basketball team coasted to a 75-59 win over No. 10-ranked Texas Wesleyan on Tuesday night at the Eagles’ Nest, as it was paced by Jason Taylor and Devan White.

  • Eagles cross country ranked No. 11 in final NAIA
OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma Christian men’s cross country team took the No. 11 position in the final NAIA national coaches’ top 25 poll of the season after winning the Sooner Athletic Conference meet last Friday.

  • Bronchos head to national tourney
INDIANAPOLIS — Lone Star Conference champion Central Oklahoma will make its seventh appearance in the NCAA Division II Women’s Soccer Championship this week after the Bronchos were named the No. 6 seed in the South Central Regional during Monday evening’s selection show.
UCO earned the league’s automatic berth into the 48-team national playoffs with Sunday’s shootout victory over West Texas A&M in the LSC Tournament finals and will travel to San Antonio, Texas for the first two rounds of the six-team South Central Regional.

  • Former UCO great passes away
Former Central Oklahoma football great Steve Tate passed away Saturday morning after a lengthy battle with cancer.
A product of Luther High School, Tate was a standout running back for the Bronchos from 1977-80 and led UCO to an NAIA national runner-up finish in 1979.

  • Crabaugh heads back to the hardwood for Stars
Former Duke basketball standout Greg Paulus shook up the college sports world earlier this year when he headed back to school to play football for Syracuse University. While the former Blue Devil star grabbed the headlines, Mindy Crabaugh had the idea first.
