ADA — The parents of Allison Larae Franks and Joseph Franklin Ross announce their upcoming wedding July 18, 2009, in Ada. Scott Sullivan will officiate the ceremony.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Virgil and Linda Franks, Ada. She is the granddaughter of Lucy Mae Franks, Sasakwa, and the late John Franks, Billy Joe Howard, Finley and Donna Howard, Council Hill. She is the great-granddaughter of Laura Copeland, Oakland, Ore. The future bride graduated from Latta High School in 2005 and received a degree in elementary education in May 2009 from East Central University.
The future bridegroom is the son of William Ross, Ada, and Elsie Haskins, Wiggins, Miss. He is the grandson of Sue Ross, Ada, and the late Robert Ross, Elsie Reed, Ada, and the late Luther Reed. A 2004 graduate of Latta High School, the future bridegroom is a student at ECU pursuing a medical physics degree.
The couple plans to make their home in Ada.
