Laura Hale to marry Timothy Hise

ADA — Paul and Linda Hale, Shawnee, announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Elaine Hale, to Timothy James Hise.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mildred Gee, Midwest City, and the late Dick Gee; and the late Mr. and Mrs. E.E. Hale. A 2005 graduate of Ada High School, the bride-to-be graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2009 with a degree in animal science. She is employed by Shawnee Animal Hospital.

The future bridegroom is the son of Luke Hise, Oklahoma City, and Linda Cline, Woodward. He is the grandson of Elizabeth Hise, Thousand Oaks, Calif., and the late Henry Hise; and Norman and Bonnie Coleman, Reseda, California. A 2002 graduate of Woodward High School, the future bridegroom attended the University of Oklahoma and is employed by Firelake Grand Casino in Shawnee as table games supervisor.

The couple met while working at YMCA Camp Classen in the summer of 2004. The couple will be married at the Thunderbird Chapel in Norman on Sept. 13, 2009. After a honeymoon trip to Cozumel, they will make their home in Shawnee.
