Rachel Hall to marry Derek Melton

STONEWALL — Rachel Hall, Stonewall, and Derek Melton, Allen, are exchanging wedding vows Oct. 24, 2009. Richard Dickerson will officiate the 6 p.m. ceremony at Stonewall First Baptist Church.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Tim and Paula Hall, Stonewall. A 2005 graduate of Stonewall High School, she graduated from East Central University Nursing in 2009. She is a registered nurse at Valley View Regional Hospital Cancer Treatment Center.

Parents of the future bridegroom are Jim Melton and Debi Frazier, Allen. He graduated from Allen High School in 2004 and ECU Exercise Science in 2008. He is a systems administrator at Vision Bank.



Hunter, Gilliam to marry Oct. 10

ALLEN — Felicia Hunter and Joshua Gilliam, both of Allen, will be married Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009. The 6:30 p.m. ceremony takes place at First Free Will Baptist Church of Ada.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Melissa R. Hunter, Shawnee, and Floyd and Melissa S. Hunter, Stonewall. She is the granddaughter of Emma Hill, Wewoka, and the late Walter Hill, and Floyd Hunter Sr. and James and Wanda "Nanny" Bradley, Ada. She is a graduate of Tupelo High School and is attending East Central University, majoring in music education. She is employed by Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc.

The future bridegroom is the son of Clifford and Denice Gilliam, Allen. He is the uncle of Brennan and Jaxon Chapkin, Stonewall, and the grandson of Wayne and JoAnn Rodgers, Ada; and the late Eldridge Roddy, and the late Edgar and Marry Gilliam. He graduated from Ada High School and attended ECU. He is employed by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.

The couple will make their home in Allen.



Smith, Reed to exchange vows

ADA — Charissa Reneé Smith and Wesley Ray "Wes" Reed, both of Ada, are exchanging wedding vows Oct. 3, 2009. George Warren will officiate the 2 p.m. ceremony at First United Methodist Church of Ada.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Willie and Connie Smith, Ada. Grandparents are Thaddeus Smith, Ada, and the late George Smith; Charlene Wartchow, Roff, and the late Cotton Wartchow. She is a 2006 graduate of Latta High School. She attended Body Business School of Massage Therapy and is a certified massage therapist. She is administrative assistant for Pontotoc County Justice Center.

Parents of the future bridegroom are Dewayne Reed, Stonewall, and Carole and Vaughn Brown, Overbrook, Okla. He is the grandson of Sonny and Erma Reed, Poteau, and Jim and Louis Roberts, Poteau. A 2003 graduate of Stonewall High School, he is employed by Garr Corner Feed.
