Wallace, Kopetsky to marry Oct. 17

ADA — Emily Wallace and Brett Kopetsky will unite in marriage on Oct. 17, 2009. The nuptial mass will take place at St. Edna Catholic Church in Arlington Heights, Ill. 

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dr. Fred Wallace and Peggy Wallace, Ada. She is a 2000 graduate of Ada High School and a 2004 graduate of St. Gregory’s University with a bachelor of science degree in conservation biology. She is employed by the federal government in Chicago, Ill.

The future bridegroom is the son of Marvin and Genal Kopetsky, Indianapolis, Ind. He is a 1995 graduate of Carmel (Indiana) High School and a 1999 graduate of Purdue University with a bachelor of science degree in computer science. He is employed as an information security engineer.



Tasha Hisaw to wed Kerry Peters Oct. 13

ADA — Exchanging wedding vows Oct. 13, 2009, on the island of St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands are Kerry Trent Peters and Tasha Leann Hisaw.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Coy and Pam Hisaw, Ada. She is the granddaughter of Faye Miller, Ada, and the late Walter and Geneva Dansby. She is a graduate of Latta High school. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center with a bachelor's degree in radiography and a bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine. She will graduate in December with a master's degree in radiology administration from Midwestern State University. She is the radiology manager at Perry Memorial Hospital in Perry.

The future bridegroom is the son of Robert and Susan Scroggins, Francis; and the late David Peters. He is the grandson of Lorene Harris, Francis, and the late Babe Harris; Dortha Peters, Edmond, and the late A.J. Peters. He is a graduate of Byng High School. He serves as a technical sergeant in the U.S. Air Force as an explosive ordinance disposal technician and is stationed in Lincoln, Neb.



Jessica Moore to marry Ryan Dansby

ADA — Jessica Moore and Ryan Dansby, both of Stratford, are exchanging wedding vows at 6 p.m. Oct. 17 at Fossil Creek Ranch.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ed and Teresa Moore, Oklahoma City, and the late Jo Lynn Moore. She is the granddaughter of Jim and Liz Moore, Oklahoma City, and Judy Fisher, Fittstown.

Parents of the bridegroom are Harold and Darlene Dansby and Becky and Lyle Phillips, all of McAlester. He is the grandson of Phyllis Bratcher, Stratford, and Janie Files, Shawnee.

Attendants scheduled to take part in the ceremony include the following: Ed Moore will give the bride in marriage; maid of honor, will be Ryan Kowey, cousin of the bride, Ada; Molly Henry, Ada, and Lauren Medford, Tulsa, bridesmaids; Joe Dansby, brother of the bridegroom and best man, Tulsa; groomsmen Damon Lunsford and Matt Bolles, both of Stratford; ushers Houston Murray, Oklahoma City, and Joe Crouch, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, Pauls Valley; flowergirl, Haily Grantham, niece of the bridegroom, Pauls Valley; ring bearer, Gavin Crouch, nephew of the bridegroom, Pauls Valley.

A reception is planned at Fossil Creek Ranch. Following a wedding trip to Las Vegas, Nev., the couple plans to make their home in Stratford.
