Scout Cloud Lee: Survivor Samoa/Episode Eight

Foa Foa Needs Ra Ra!  Eric’s Gone, Ta Da!  And Russell’s Duped! Ha! Ha!  What was Eric thinking at Tribal?  Can one really be so moronic as to insult a whole tribe and not expect the boot!  Has Eric never heard, “The bigger they come, the harder they fall?”  I bet the blind side puts some real pepper in Eric’s gumbo!



         As for Russell, it looks like the humbling effects of being totally duped has our most arrogant of all players scrambling next week.  Now who’s the dumb a__, Russell?  Three strikes and you’re out, Russell.  Strike One: a woman gives him 10% odds against her 90%.  Strike Two:  That same woman wins individual immunity and he can’t take revenge.  Strike Three:  Russell casts his immunity idol down the toilet.  What a total waste!  Looks like he’ll need it next week.  Guess he’s not quite as “sly” as he thought, and he most certainly doesn’t “rule in this new Aiga Kingdom”!



         I was personally happy to see Arrogant Eric go and I’ll be twice as happy to see Ridiculous Russell go.  Since I’m no longer aiming at Sainthood, I don’t really have to like either one of these guys.  It’s refreshing to see that life really does topple arrogant egos.  I just want revenge on Russell.  Is that so wrong?  To Russell I say, “YOU…Off my planet!” Russell, generally speaking, you don’t learn much when your mouth is moving!  Ain’t it just awful to fail in full view of millions of people!  Hey, Russell.  You don’t grow up until you learn to thank God for your troubles as well as your strokes of luck!



         I loved Sham’s take on Laura:  “She’s got a 90210 Young Thing goin’ on”.  It really is dumb to fight with Sham, who is deemed to be crazy, but then it’s pretty dumb to fight with anyone.  Sham is completely “over mean-spirited Laura”.  What happen to our good Christian girl!



         This was the first time two immunity necklaces have been given at Tribal.  You can bet the reality of Laura having immunity sent the new Aiga Tribe scrambling.  I agree with Dave.  It makes perfect sense to just pick off Foa Foa, and then fight to the finish with the remaining Galu cast mates.  Anyone notice that there really is no tribal identity with the new tribe?



Once Galu, always Galu!  Early identities are hard to  break.  Think about that fact in life!



         John is all about playing an intelligent game.  It’ll be interesting to see if he is able to play Varsity versus Jr. Varsity Survivor!  He’s a looker with brains to boot.  Jaison’s a smart one too.  I loved his retort to Eric, “I don’t care what you like, Eric”.  I felt for Jaison as he remembered having to struggle to be recognized over the span of his young life.



         It’s November and Jeff Probst’s birthday.  Only a true Scorpio would lock onto Dave’s favorite sport:  Making Love!
