A local bar was badly damaged by fire and the employees believe it is a case of arson.
When firefighters responded to Cocktails and Dreams, located on County Road 3 Drive, just south of Ada at 5 a.m. Wednesday, the structure was one-quarter engulfed in flames.
Firefighters said the inside of the business was a total loss. The state fire marshal was called and will investigate.
An employee of the business said he believes it to be arson and pointed to the back of the building where metal siding was pried open. The words “PooR you” were written on the side of the building in what appeared to be lipstick.
The owner of the business, Wes Spangler, said he did not have insurance and, at this time, is unsure if he will rebuild.
