Man sentenced to 30 years for producing child porn

Randy Mitchell Staff Writer

Muskogee Christopher Dale Long, 28, was recently sentenced to 30 years in prison for production of child pornography. He pleaded guilty to the charges on January 18, U.S. Attorney Sheldon Sperling said.

“Long was sentenced to 360 months in prison followed by 36 months of supervised release and was ordered to pay a $100 special assessment,” Sperling said. “Charges arose from an investigation by the Ada Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The defendant appeared with a 5-year-old child in sexually explicit poses for the purpose of producing child pornography in Pontotoc County.”

Long was arrested with Stacie Michelle Wilson, 28, February 2007. The pair was charged in Pontotoc County District Court with seven felony counts of violating a 5-year-old girl.

Multiple charges included aiding and soliciting a minor child to perform, making child pornography, lewd molestation, first-degree rape by instrumentation, engaging in child abuse, enabling child abuse and lewd molestation.

According to a report provided by Ada Police Department, a distraught Wilson was taken to the police department Feb. 9, 2007, by two acquaintances, where she told officers she had been forced to have sex with Long’s father. Wilson mentioned at approximately 7:30 that morning, she witnessed Long molest the child.

The report said Wilson claimed she was drugged the previous night because she was unable to stand up. She said Long instructed her to shower, and it was in the bathroom where the child molestation occurred.

Wilson stated she cleaned the child up and took her to school.

Wilson told officers she recalled an incident three days prior where Long forced her to pose the child in sexual poses so Long could photograph the child. She said Long was extremely controlling after being released from prison.

Wilson said he would not allow her out of his sight since the molestation began, and she had just escaped from him prior to the police visit. Wilson said she and Long used methamphetamine the night before, prior to the incident.

The report said the child’s biological father was interviewed with the child at the police department, where he reported the child was behaving normally and he had not witnessed any odd behavior.

Wilson was sentenced to 274 months to run concurrently with the term of imprisonment imposed in District Court of Pontotoc County for her part in the incident, Sperling said.

“This investigation is part of the United States Department of Justice Project Safe Childhood initiative,” Sperling said. “This program serves to crack down on those who exploit and victimize children by means of the Internet or other electronic media.”

“Whoever offends one of these little ones? (sic) The federal criminal penalties are severe – properly so. In this case, the sentence is 30 years in prison without parole. We are grateful to the Ada Police Department and the FBI for their investigation, to Assistant U.S. Attorney Chris Wilson for leading the prosecution, and to District Attorney Chris Ross for his partnership and counsel,” Sperling said.
