The line was long at Golden Corral in Ada Monday evening as veterans and their families were served hot meals free of charge. The nationwide campaign is held annually to honor veterans of U.S. Armed Forces. Also on hand were representatives from the Disabled American Veterans, (D.A.V.). They were welcoming veterans and accepting donations to help fund D.A.V. transportation. Harold Ray, of the D.A.V., said the funds are used to take disabled veterans to and from the hospital.
