Business robbed at knifepoint

ADA—An employee of Check-n-Go in North Hills Shopping Center was reportedly held at knifepoint by a man who cleaned out the loan company’s safe .
Ada police said the employee claimed a man had come in to obtain a loan and when he was turned down, pulled out a lock-blade knife and demanded money from the employee.
The employee reportedly told police the suspect is an Indian male, 25 to 30-years-old approximately six-foot, two inches tall who fled the seen in a green Ford Ranger. Ada police said the amount missing was close to $2,000. Detectives continue to investigate the matter. Further information was available by press time.
