Thomas Fletcher
Mr. Thomas Baker Fletcher, 82, of the Wesley Woods Retirement Center in Atlanta, died early Monday morning, March 20, 2006.
Mr. Fletcher was born July 2, 1924 in Butts County. He was the son of the late William David Fletcher and Willie Byrd Thurston Fletcher. He was a veteran of World War II and was stationed in Japan shortly after the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki with the 3064th Quartermaster Graves Registration Company and discharged with the rank of Sergeant. Mr. Fletcher owned an automobile Paint and Body Shop for 29 years. He was a member of the United Methodist Church and was a mason.
Survivors include his wife, Dr. Ann Nell Fletcher of Atlanta; two daughters and sons-in-law, Vanilu and Chester Evans; Sallie and Allen Whitaker; stepsons, Frank White of Chattanooga; Mel White of Marietta; sister and brother-in-law, JoAnn and Larry Sealock, all of Jackson; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Thomas Baker Fletcher will be held Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Dr. Dan Brown and Rev. Dean Kring officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday from Mt. Gilead United Methodist Church Cemetery in Woodstock. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Foundation of Wesley Woods, 1817 Clifton Road, NE, Atlanta, GA 30329. There will be a memorial service held at Wesley Woods Towers Dining Room on Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at 3:00 p.m.

Rhonda Ray
Mrs. Rhonda Gail Gilbert Ray, 35, of Jackson, died Thursday morning, March 16, 2006 at the Sylvan Grove Hospital in Jackson.
Mrs. Ray was born October 15, 1970 in Spalding County. She was the daughter of the late Jimmy Warren Gilbert, Sr. and Kitty Lee Turner Gilbert, who survives. She was a secretary at the Cut Above Polish Shop.
Survivors include her husband, Darrell Ray of Jackson; two children, Alex Hosey and Megan Hosey, both of Jackson; mother, Kitty Lee Gilbert of Corbin, Kentucky; two sisters, Anita Dawn Smith of Corbin, KY; Lisa Ann Hooper of Roberta; grandmothers, Mrs. Sylvia Cook and Mrs. Exie Turner, both of Jackson; several aunts, uncles and cousins; two stepchildren, Ryan Ray of Jenkinsburg; Noel Ray of Griffin.
Funeral services for Mrs. Rhonda Gail Gilbert Ray were held Saturday, March 18, 2006 from the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Rev. John Sherrell and Rudy Mangham officiating. The interment followed in the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church Cemetery.

Esther StJohn
Mrs. Esther Anne Bowers StJohn, 55, of Jenkinsburg, died Sunday evening, March 19, 2006 at her residence.
Mrs. StJohn was born December 16, 1950 in Fulton County. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Buck Bowers. She was a homemaker and a former employee at Ft. McPherson.
Survivors include her husband, William George (Billy) StJohn; daughters, Serena and Kathy; sons, Johnathan and Ashley; two grandchildren; mother-in-law, Rita StJohn.
Funeral services for Mrs. Esther Anne Bowers StJohn will be held Thursday, March 23, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Rev. Bob Giadrosich will officiate with interment in the Jackson City Cemetery. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home Wednesday, March 22, 2006 from 6-8 p.m.

Willie Watson
Mr. Willie Howard (Blue) Watson died Saturday, February 25, 2006 after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Watson was born December 26, 1951 in Butts County. He was the son of Mrs. Ida Mae Watson and the late Mr. Clarence Watson. He joined the Antioch Baptist Church at an early age in Monroe County, Forsyth.
Survivors include his loving wife, Mrs. Virginia Fish Watson; one son, Mr. Howard Jerel Watson of Griffin; four daugthers and son-in-law, Ms. Lisa Ruth Fish, Ms. Barbara Anita Watson, Ms. Shamanda Latrice Watson, all of Griffin; Mrs. Jaqueline Denise and Derrick Bridges of Jackson; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his loving mother, Mrs. Ida Mae Watson; three sisters and brother-in-law, Ms. Lillie Mae Goodrum, Mrs. Helen Scott, both of Jackson; Mrs. Linda Rose and Marvin Travis of Monroe; seven brothers and sisters-in-law, Mr. James Wesley and Connie Watson; Mr. Willie Clarence Watson; Mr. Sammie Lee and Bonnie Jean Watson; Mr. Calvin Ray Watson; Mr. Leotis and Tina Watson; Mr. Alton Jerome Watson; Mr. Norman and Shirley Watson, all of Jackson; four aunts, Mrs. Lettie Mae Holder of Flovilla; Mrs. Lillie Ruth Stewart (Willie) of Jackson; Mrs. Lucille Watts (Carter) of High Falls; Mrs. Fannie Lee Morgan (C.B.) of Jenkinsburg; a very special uncle, Mr. Willie Joe Watson (Clara) of Griffin; very special cousin, Bishop China Evans of Jackson; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services for Mr. Willie Howard (Blue) Watson were held Friday, March 3, 2006 at the Antioch Baptist Church in Forsyth with Rev. Charlie Frank Thurman officiating. The interment followed in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
