Dear Editor,
After 35 years of employment by Valley View Regional Hospital I have decided to retire. I would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank some very special people.
I began my employment as a staff therapist in 1973 and was appointed director of the physical therapy department in 1987. I have been privileged to supervise an excellent staff.
The staff of the PT department is a dedicated, knowledgeable and caring group of people. I am proud to say that their latest patient satisfaction scores as compared to other hospitals was 99%.
I did not need a piece of paper to tell me what a great staff I had.
I would also like to thank the physicians and other staff members of VVRH that I have worked with over the years.
They have made my job easier by their professionalism and assistance. Lastly I would like to thank the public.
I have treated many patients in my tenure with VVRH and have made many friends in the process.
It has been a real pleasure to have had the opportunity to serve you. Valley View PT will continue to function without my guidance and I feel confident that very good patient care will continue to be given.
Again, thanks to everyone I have had the pleasure to serve.

Dear Editor,
My ministry’s laptop was stolen. I suspect who stole it. I plan to forgive them if they bring it back. I will forgive them and not press charges. Also, return my insulin. I am a diabetic. I appeal to them to them to bring my computer and purse back with the contents inside, especially my insulin. Thank you.
