— Dear Editor:
We would like to give Thanks to the staff in ICU who helped care for our grandmother, Pat Cordell. Our grandmother was admitted into Valley View Thursday June 26 with chest pains and because her granddaughter's wedding was the next day at noon, grandma lost all hope.
Our mother died of lung cancer August 16, 2003 and because this was such an important day for my sister our grandmother wanted to try to fill in for our mother.
Just when all hope was lost, Dr. Gurley released grandma at 11:30 and the staff gave her hope. These THREE ANGELS helped her get dressed and a male nurse drove her to the wedding, getting her there just in time. We know our mother was watching from up above.
The family of Pat Cordell will never forget THE THREE ANGELS IN ICU.
