Dear Editor,

A great big First Baptist Church of Roff “Thank You” goes out to the Masonic Lodge #169 of Roff.

When we needed additional space for our blood drive with the Oklahoma Blood Institute, Donnie Higginbotham and his Masonic brothers were willing to allow us the use of their hall.

Congratulations to the Roff High School boys’ baseball team and their coaches. Ead Simon and Danny Balridge! They are now back-to-back state champions!

Not wanting to be left out of the hardware race, the girls’ fast-pitch softball team and their coaches—Kathy Gregson, Katlin Peak, Mike Stewart—brought home the state runner-up trophy!

Dear Editor and residents of Oklahoma,

I’m writing to say hello from Pawtucket, RI (the smallest state in the union). I’m a seventh grader in Goff Junior High School and we’re doing a geography project.

For my geography class, we are working on a long project in which we are responsible for creating an oral, written and poster project on a particular US state.
