Prime Timers

Prime Timers met Dec. 18 at J.D.’s Cafeteria for the monthly buffet dinner and meeting with President neal Beasley presiding. Rev. Roberto Escamilia gave the invocation.

The group sang “Happy Birthday” to Neal and Patsy Beasley. Members also acknowledged the anniversary of L.T. and Betty Williams.

Mayme Farham, program chairman for the month of January announced that the manager of the Baptist Village would give the Jan. 15 program. The members were treated to a medley of Christmas music provided by B.J. Shi, Louann Korzan and Neal Beasley. Guests were Jim Korzan, Louann Korzan, B.J. Shi, Elaine McKnight, Linda Stephens, Mollyann Cypert and Joe David.

Members present were Alma Hogan, Dorothy Milligan, Ruth Ann Taylor, mary Sue Roberts, Neal and Patsy Beasley, Ted and Jackie Savage, George Seaton, Wendell and Treva Gurley, Evelyn Tribbey, Bonnie Shields, Duane Doane, Betty Parham. M.E. and Mary lou Carr, Mamie Farham, Ella Mae Todd, L.T. and Betty Williams, Andy and Joan Hood, Pat and Floyd Gurley, Willie Mae Williams Derrelyn metsz, Monica Stittsworth, Dorothy Story, Roberto and Dorothy Escamilla, Ruby Firsching and Leonard Briley.



Beta Sigma Phi

On December 9, 2007, all area chapters of Beta Sigma Phi were invited to attend a Preferential Tea which was held in the home of Belinda Runnells, Xi Delta Gamma chapter member.

On December 11, 2007 the Xi Delta Gamma chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met in the home of Stacie Briley for their monthly meeting and a pot luck dinner. After the meal and business meeting, members discussed future meetings and projects and exchanged secret sister Christmas gifts. Members attending were Cindy Beasley, Sharon Beasley, Vickie Bess, Stacie Briley, Brenda Hall, Cindy Keefer, Carol Naberhaus, Robin Nelson, Belinda Runnells, Holly Sewell, Judy Short, Mary Story, Lani Vasconcellos, Debby Wallace, Pamla Armstrong and Sherry Barnes.
