CLEET hosts first blood drive

— ADA — Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training held its first “Academy Blood Drive” recently. Forty-four donors gave blood at the K.O. Rayburn Training Center. Staff and students were among the donors as well as two Ada Police Department members.
The blood drive was conducted in conjunction with the East Central Oklahoma Blood Institute of Ada. The activities were coordinated by Blood Program Consultant Jim Thomas. Sponsors said CLEET will continue to conduct blood donation drives during every basic training academy class during the year.
