Training

March 04, 2009 01:04 pm

Fifteen firefighters completed Emergency Medical Responder training during February at Pontotoc Technology Center. The funding for this class and other fire training classes for volunteer firefighters was provided by the Oklahoma Volunteer Fire Fighter Initiative. Senator Susan Paddack is very instrumental in the state providing funding for Oklahoma volunteer firefighter training at area technology centers. These firefighters are now better equipped to serve the citizens of their communities when responding to vehicle accidents or medical emergencies. For more information on fire training, phone Bennie Cope at Pontotoc Technology Center, 580-310-2276.
