Ada Police Narcotics unit arrested three people for allegedly attempting to obtain the prescription drug Lortab Monday.
Captain Jeff Crosby said one suspect, Sarah Moore, 33, Ada, was arrested after she allegedly attempted to pick up a prescription from a local pharmacy which was reportedly called in by someone impersonating a doctor.
“Further investigation led to the arrest of Kelly Day, 37, Ada, when she attempted to purchase Lortab in the parking lot of a local convenience store,” Crosby said. Further investigation led to the arrest of Mark Bryan, 27, Ada when Bryan also attempted to purchase Lortab in the parking lot of a local convenience store.”
Crosby said Moore was arrested on suspicion of attempting to obtain Lortab by fraud or false pretenses. Day and Bryan were arrested on suspicion of attempting to obtain Lortab within 1,000 feet of school or park and use of a telephone to further a crime.
All three have been released on bond. Crosby is asking residents with information on drug dealing or any crime to phone CrimeStoppers at 33CATCH or 332-2824 or text tips to 310-2994.
