Trade show, entertainment scheduled before PBR event

ADA — Excited about the Southern Oklahoma PBR Enterprise Classic? Those heading off to the Pontotoc County Agri-plex the weekend of May 4-5 will not only see top bull riders ply their trade in the arena aboard some of the rankest bulls on the planet, they can enjoy a trade show and top entertainment before the main action begins.
“The doors open at 6:30 each night. We will have a trade show and vendors outside the complex each night where the bull riding fans can grab a snack and browse among the merchandise offered for sale,” said Brenda Revels, event organizer.
“Our trade show is growing bigger and bigger each year. With more than 6,000 people attending this event, we will have plenty of food vendors to serve those attending both inside and outside the arena.”
The following vendors will be featured at this year’s PBR Trade Show:
Grandma’s Indian Tacos — Indian tacos, candy, drinks, hamburgers, hot dogs, french fires, chips, pickles and more.
American Red Cross — fund raiser recipe books and first aid kits.
Back at the Ranch — western home décor, rugs, bedding, shirts, horns, hides and jewelry.
Cactus Corner/Trail Blazer Tack — home décor, jewelry and tack.
McCoy-Callison Photography — exhibiting photography.
Ada Evening News — subscriptions.
K. Rhynes Surplus — tack, boots, clothing.
Stonewall FBLA — fundraiser fried pies and cinnamon rolls.
Newberry’s — T-shirts, koozies and candles.
Tupelo seniors — fundraiser for senior class PBR merchandise.
Cowboy Crisis — fundraiser T-shirts.
Laxton Concessions — kettle corn and pork rinds.
Doc’s BBQ — barbecue sandwiches, hot links and chips.
C Spur Trails — western home décor, tablecloths, napkins, shower curtains, pillows, bedding, sconces and knick nacks.
Meek Machine — bull training dummies.
Southern Sonlight — CDs.
D&H Cattle Co. – merchandise booth.
Orscheln Farm and Ranch — clothing and PBR merchandise.
Kevin Spencer — CDs.
Gospel Station — fundraiser Coca-Cola, nachos and Frito pies.
Tahitian Noni — Noni, equine animal product.
Dawn Christian — make-up.
Entertainment begins at 7 p.m. each evening. Southern Sonlight and Kevin Spencer are featured Friday night, May 4, and Leann Hart, wife of The Iron Man, J.W. Hart, will sing the National Anthem on Saturday night, May 5.
“We are excited about this year’s event and encourage everyone to come out to catch the action in the arena and take a look at all our vendors’ offerings,” Revels said. “This year's official food vendor in the arena is Doc’s BBQ & Steakhouse and Coca-Cola is the official drink.”
The Southern Oklahoma event is brought to Ada by Out West Productions, LLC.
