Salvation Army Auxiliary meets

ADA — Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary met April 13.

Following a lunch prepared by Capt. Lori Lucas, President Martha Freeman called the meeting to order. Lucas voiced a prayer before the meal.

Roberta Summers gave the devotion from I Corinthians chapter 12. She reminded the group that every member was important to the Auxiliary. She then read Galatians 6:9, “So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time if we do not give up.”

Member were reminded to get in changes for the yearbook to Joyce Gentry. New officers will be installed in May. Lucas will leave right after the meeting to take nine teenagers to a youth council at Camp Hart ‘O the Hills near Tahlequah.

The captain and Vice President Dorene McAlister will attend the regional meeting at Dallas later this month.
