Ada pools filled, open tomorrow

ADA – The city of Ada kicks off its official summer on Thursday, May 22, by opening its three public swimming pools.
Wintersmith Park swimming pool hours of operation are 1-6:15 p.m. Monday to Saturday, and from 1-5:45 p.m. Sunday.
Glenwood Park pools – the large pool and the “kiddie” pool to the west – have the same hours, 1-5:45 p.m. seven days a week.
Fees at all pools are as follows:
* 12 & Under – $1.50
* 13 & Over – $2.00
* Entry fee to the “kiddie” pool at Glenwood Park is $1.50.
Season passes are available by contacting the City of Ada’s Recreation Department at (580) 436-8102. Passes include:
* Child – $50.00
* Adult – $55.00
* Family – $90.00
Pools are available for private parties in the evenings, for a maximum of one and a half hours. Available time slots are 6:30-8 p.m. and 8:15-9:45 p.m. Parties of up to 50 people cost $75 and parties with more than 50 people cost $100.
Glenwood Park pools are scheduled to close for the season on July 31.
Wintersmith Park's pool is scheduled to close August 10.

To help with summer transportation, Call-A-Ride offers youth summer passes.
Passes for those between ages 10 and 17 are available for $30 for Zone 1 and $40 for Zone 2. The pass is good for June and July.
