Four Allen residents were charged with trafficking in illegal drugs in Pontotoc County District Court this week.
Ismael Padilla, 33, Roque Munoz, 37, Zeferino Lopez, 25, and Jessica Jones, 22, allegedly sold methamphetamine to narcotics agents in early May.
According to a court affidavit, agents with the District 22 Drug Task Force, along with an agent from the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, purchased an ounce of a white crystal substance wrapped in a plastic baggie. The substance later tested positive for methamphetamine.
After the undercover buy, the agents, along with sheriff’s deputies, Allen police and Chickasaw Nation Lighthorse police, moved in and arrested the four suspects.
During a search of Munoz’s residence in the 500 block of E. Broadway in Allen, agents found a box with a plastic bag containing meth, numerous plastic baggies, a yellow plastic bag filled with 10 smaller baggies of meth similar to the ones purchased by agents, $1,500 cash and an unloaded .38 Special pistol, the affidavit reported.
Bond for Padilla and Jones was set at $10,000 each. Zeferino and Munoz were being held without bond for immigration officials.
