Adan places in Miss Oklahoma pageant

Tulsa — Taylor Treat, Miss Oklahoma State Fair 2008, finished third runner up in the 2008 Miss Oklahoma Pageant held over the weekend in Tulsa.

Treat, 20, is an Ada resident. She’s a junior at the University of Oklahoma in Norman.

Treat was awarded a $3,000 scholarship for capturing third runner up.

Kelsey Cartwright was crowned Miss Oklahoma 2008 on Saturday night. Cartwright, 20, competed as Miss Collinsville.

She was awarded a $16,000 scholarship. After her year serving as Miss Oklahoma, Cartwright will return to college at OCU as a junior, where she’s majoring in dance management.
