A motorcycle wreck on a county road three miles southwest of Sulphur left Billy Trenton Lance Daugherty, 20, Davis, with multiple injuries.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Tracey Laxton said in a report Daugherty was driving a 1998 Yamaha west on the county road.
He ran off the roadway and began to roll. The motorcycle rolled for 129 feet.
Daugherty was taken by Murray County EMS to the Arbuckle Hospital helipad.
He was then taken by Air-Evac to Norman Regional Hospital and Daugherty was admitted with head, arm and leg injuries.
Based on his investigative opinion, Laxton listed the cause as unsafe speed. Laxton said Daugherty was not wearing a helmet.
He was assisted by Murray County sheriff’s deputies and firefighters from Sulphur.
